Please read this section carefully and in its entirety before placing an order. Once an order is placed, it indicates that you have read our shipping and order information and agree to our policies.

In compliance with California law, every California resident will be charged sales tax unless a valid sales tax ID number is provided. Email a copy of your current resale certificate to email@example.com or fax it to (909) 354-8839. Once received, your account will be noted and you will no longer be charged sales tax. This applies to future orders.
Unfortunately, our system doesn’t allow us to issue sales tax refunds on past orders, so please make sure a resale certificate is on file before placing submitting.
It is your responsibility to submit an updated resale certificate every year.
Pure Fragrance Oils strives to ship all orders within 48 hours of receipt. However, during our busy seasons, it may take 5-7 days before your order is processed. This applies to all in stock items. If an item is out of stock, we will contact you to see if you would like us to ship your order without the missing item or if you would like to wait until the item is back in stock. Our home page will always have the current shipping turnaround times.
Changes, Additions or Cancellations
Any orders that are canceled after your order has been placed will result in a 15% restocking fee.
If any changes or additions need to be made, a new order must be created.
All orders are shipped via FedEx and USPS. We do not ship FedEx Collect or FedEx Third Party (using your own shipper number).
We offer a flat rate shipping service of $11.95. You MUST choose this option during checkout. In the event you choose a specific service with a higher shipping cost, we will honor your request. When you choose our Flat Rate shipping option, it will be at our discretion on selecting the best shipping option for your package. It may be USPS, FedEx Ground, FedEx Express, or Smart Post.
USPS Postal Service
USPS times will vary based on your zone and shipping method. All shipping times shown are estimates. Please allow time when ordering in the event the couriers are delayed. USPS offers various different shipping options. We will ship your package in the most economical way. Any shipping overage charges will be refunded.
However, if your order contains any flashpoints lower than 200ºF, your order CANNOT ship via USPS regardless if you chose this shipping method. You will be contacted for additional shipping options and costs.
A tracking number for your order will be sent to you via USPS as long as your email is provided to us. All orders will be insured.
FedEx delivery times will vary based on your zone and shipping method. All shipping times shown are estimates. Please allow time when ordering in the event the couriers are delayed. FedEx does not deliver to PO BOX addresses. Please provide a physical address when you place your order, unless you want your order shipped Smart Post.
Also, FedEx has a minimum one-pound weight requirement. If your order is less than one pound, your order will still be calculated at the one-pound shipping rate. Please keep this in mind when ordering a few ounces or samples. You can order up to 14 samples for the same shipping price as 1 sample.
We use FedEx one rate shipping boxes. If your order will fit inside one of these boxes, we will use them to help aid your package arriving to you sooner.
FedEx ground shipping generally takes up to 5 business days when shipping in the US. Based on our shipping history, here is an approximate transit time:
- 1 business day: CA (Southern California)
- 2 business days: CA (Central & Northern California) OR, ID, MT, NV, WA
- 3 business days: WA, ID, NV, UT, AZ, CO, WY, ND, MT, SD, HI
- 4 business days: ND, SD, CO, NM, TX, OK, KS, NE, MN, IA, MO, IL, AK
- 5 business days: TX, LA, AR, MS, AL, GA, FL, SC, TN, IL, KY, IN, MI, OH, NC, VA, WV, PA, NY, VT, ME, NH, MA, RI, CT, NJ, DE, MD

FedEx now offers a service called Smart Post. Your package is picked up and tracked by FedEx, but USPS makes the final delivery. Smart Post will take 2-5 additional days to be delivered by USPS. So, if you have a PO Box, remember to allow additional time when ordering, as your order will be delivered through Smart Post. Smart Post can be a cheaper shipping option, but there is a longer transit time. If you choose our flat rate shipping, it will be at our discretion to choose this option for you.

If an incorrect shipping address is provided and the order is returned to us, you are responsible for the reshipping costs. Please check your shipping address thoroughly and be sure to include St, Ave, Blvd, Circle, Lane, Court, etc. with the appropriate apartment number, suite number, lot number, floor number, etc., If this information is not properly entered, the courier will charge a correction fee.
Currently, Pure Fragrance Oils ships within the USA.
Special Shipping Information
Requests: There are times our customers request a package delivered to a designated area, at their home, if they will not be home to receive the package. If this is the case, we will write the requests on the shipping label if it will fit; however, there is no guarantee the carrier will honor the request.
All orders, except bulk orders, will be shipped without a signature required. Your order is subject to be left at your home, on your porch. We will receive a notification that your package has been delivered without a signature. We are not responsible for boxes left or stolen from your home. It is at your risk if your order is left without a signed delivery.
If you require a signature, please add your request in the note section when placing an order, to ensure it is added to your shipping label.
*A signature will be required for all bulk orders. No exceptions!
All orders will include insurance.
Refused Shipments or Non-Delivered Orders
If an order is refused or returned to us unopened, the customer will be charged for shipping to and from their address. A 15% restocking fee will also be added.
Damaged Orders, Missing Orders & Returns
Pure Fragrance Oils takes pride in carefully packaging our products. All orders leave our warehouse in excellent condition. However, there are times when the package or item may get damaged during transit. If this is the case, please notify us within 72 hours of receiving your order. We will work together to rectify the situation. A photo of the damaged item is needed in order to file a claim. Please contact us at 909.354.8839 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please make sure to check your order immediately after receiving it. If there is anything missing, please call or email us within 72 hours of delivery. You will be asked for your order number & the item missing. We will work together to rectify the situation. After 72 hours, we will conclude that your order was fulfilled accurately and no refunds will be offered.
Due to the nature of our products, we do not accept returns.
